HISTORY - PLOT LINES
Born in a Kingdom called Jordan, Bronte lived a relatively quiet life with his mother and sister until the kingdom of Aestas invaded Jordan and recruited all young males and females. Bronte's power was discovered and the decision made to find out his limitations, the 'mark' was found to repel Bronte's hypnosis when carved into agate. With his sister held captive and the commanders bearing the mark on green agate rings, Bronte is forced to work for Aestas, turning the soldiers on the innocent and the innocent on themselves. He resisted in the beginning, resulting in being flogged and maimed until he agreed to work in return for the safety of his sister. He was known through the ranks for his lack of combat and injuries, one look and Bronte was able to take out entire villages by turning them on themselves.
After a few years, Bronte's sister died. Aestas kept the pretence up that she was alive, though Bronte eventually found out when he requested to see her. With nothing to hold him there, Bronte turned on the Aestas army. Soldiers were pitted against each other, providing a distraction while Bronte hunted down anyone who bore the mark. Seven of the eight rings were destroyed by Bronte himself, while the last one was never found.
Bronte fled Aestas and Jordan after releasing the surviving soldiers from his hypnosis. He moved between realms, learning and earning his trade as a witch doctor before he reached the Baratum realm, ruled by Acheron. Knowing Acheron was partial to having non-demons in his court, as proven by Abaddon's presence, Bronte was offered a place to stay, which he accepted.
